Care Assistants are required to support a male aged 51 years who lives in the Delves Lane area. Support required includes: 30-minute morning calls, 7 days a week
for providing a drink, toileting care, and feeding cats. 30-minute lunch calls, 6 days a week
for providing a drink, preparing a meal, making medication solution, toileting care, and feeding cats. 1 hour 15 minutes on a Wednesday lunchtime
for laundry, housework, and shopping. 15 minutes added to Monday and Friday mornings
for personal care. 20-minute tea time calls, 7 days a week
for providing a drink, preparation of a snack, toileting care, and checking the pendant. Cleaning the cat’s bathroom when needed and cleaning floors when necessary. Total hours required: 10 hrs 35 mins per week, to be split between the 2 workers (e.g., 5 hours 35 mins for one worker, 5 hours for the other). This can be discussed at the interview. Rate of pay: £12 per hour.
Experience in home care is preferable. An enhanced DBS will be required, and the employer will cover the cost.
