Job description We are seeking dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in a care home setting. The role involves assisting residents with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. 33hr Days, roles include 12 hour shifts and weekend working on a rota. Duties - Support residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting. - Assist in the implementation of care plans. - Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the care team. - Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and their families. - Help residents with mobility and transportation needs, including driving when required. Skills - Experience or willingness to work in a care home environment. - Ability to communicate effectively in English. - Proficiency in IT for record keeping and communication purposes. - Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. - Understanding of home care practices and procedures. Minimum Requirements To be eligible to apply for this role, you must have the right to work in the UK, with 6-12 months of care or support professional experience within the UK, with a 5-year checkable work history and a minimum of 3 years of professional referencing. We cannot accept care or support of family members as experience. Due to the nature of this service, some roles may be temp to perm, in which case you may start on a temporary contract; then, once you have established good solid relationships with the service users, you will transfer over to a permanent contract.
