An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Care Coordinator to join the Durham Tees Care team.

Prior care experience and coordination experience is highly desirable for this role.

Durham Tees Care LTD strives to provide the highest quality of home care, leading the field in customer service. At Durham Tees Care LTD, everything we do centers on supporting our customers to retain their independence in their own home and continue to enjoy living in their community.

A Care Coordinator will arrange care workers to be in the right place at the right time. It is important our customers receive excellent quality care and support to keep them safe and comfortable in their own homes. A supportive and calm manner, together with excellent organisational and communication skills, are vital for this important role in our company.

The main aspect of the role will be to ensure care calls are recorded and allocated correctly on the systems and that care workers are appropriately allocated to customers so that care is delivered on time, safely, and in line with customers' wishes (as agreed in their care and support plan). There's a lot of thinking ahead in this role, so being proactive is a must - aligning care schedules along with customer schedules requires some problem-solving skills.

As a coordinator, there may be times when you are required to work in the field in an emergency situation, so willingness to do hands-on care is a must.
