The Care Home Assistant Practitioner (CHAPS) role is a key part of the care team at Akari Care, a company that aims to create an environment where residents are valued, respected, and offered personalized care. The CHAPS assistant will work alongside the nursing staff to support and assist with the day-to-day nursing needs of the residents, allowing the nurses to focus on the more complex medical requirements. As a Care Home Assistant Practitioner (CHAPS), you will play a fundamental and integral part of the care team at Akari Care. Your responsibilities will include assisting in looking after the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the residents to help deliver the highest quality, individualized care. You will collaborate with the nursing staff to support and assist with the day-to-day nursing needs of the residents, allowing the nurses to focus on the more complex medical requirements. You will also work with colleagues, family members, and external professionals to maintain the identity and dignity of the residents and help them live life to the fullest. About us

Playing a fundamental and integral part of our united and extended care team you will assist in looking after the physical, mental and emotional needs of our residents to help us deliver the highest quality, individualised care they require. As one of our Care Home Assistant Practitioners (CHAPs) you will collaboratively work alongside our fully trained Nurses to support and assist with the day to day nursing needs of our residents, thus allowing our Nurses the time and resource to tend to the needs of the more complex nursing requirements of some of our residents. Qualifications

You will need a Care Home Assistant Practitioner Certification to be eligible for this role. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
