Premier Work Support are looking for a passionate and dedicated cook for a Care home in Brentwood, Essex.
You will be responsible for preparing daily meals, namely hot lunch, taking into consideration any residents' dietary needs, preferences, and any allergies.
Creating food for older adults whilst maintaining food hygiene and safety standards. Engage with residents to understand their preferences and their needs.
Work closely with care staff to ensure all requirements are met on a daily basis.
This is a brand new operation with a brand new kitchen, so an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
Hours of working are 9am to 2pm, Monday to Sunday; however, this may suit a job share where working weekends can be done on a rota basis and the role shared between 2.
Some care home and/or kitchen experience is essential for this role, and a full enhanced DBS along with Level 2 in Hygiene is also essential.
