Job Description: Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Home Manager to lead a team in a private care home in West Wales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the codes of practice for social care in Wales and a passion for providing high-quality care. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to the care team. Ensure the care home operates in accordance with the relevant regulations and standards. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with the Social Care Wales codes of practice and other relevant legislation. Maintain high standards of care and service delivery. Conduct regular audits and implement improvements as necessary. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff. Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews. Promote a positive and supportive working environment. Resident Care: Ensure that all residents receive person-centred care tailored to their individual needs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and records. Foster good relationships with residents, their families, and external agencies. Financial Management: Manage the care home's budget effectively. Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date. Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising on care quality. Qualifications and Experience:

A relevant qualification in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care). Registration with Social Care Wales. Extensive experience in a managerial role within a care home setting. Strong knowledge of the Social Care Wales codes of practice and other relevant legislation. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Personal Attributes:

Compassionate and empathetic with a genuine passion for caring for others. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
