Pay Rate - £14-16/hr Location - Inverness Are you an experienced Adult Care Assistant/Support Worker with access to your own car? Looking to work with a local authority, with great shift patterns? Randstad is recruiting a team of talented Adult Care Assistant/Support Worker to join a unique package supporting two adults with a rare condition and complex needs in a supported tenancy. The role is not without challenges but will also be very rewarding. You will support service users to live their lives as independently as possible and maximise their opportunities. This is a great opportunity to affect real change into the lives of vulnerable adults and their family. This role involves providing support to adults or elders on the autism spectrum, dementia, and learning disabilities. Working effectively with the manager, team, and family members Supporting wheelchair-bound service users which involves using hoists Establishing good daily routines and performing personal care Seizure care (training provided) Displaying the emotional resilience to support service users with life-limiting conditions Working to a flexible schedule, including night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays Keeping a positive and friendly attitude! You may be the only people the service users see that day To be successful in your care assistant application, you will:

Have previous experience working with adults with complex needs Experience in, or prepared to undertake training in PEG feeding, epilepsy, and moving and handling Have strong communication skills Register under the PVG scheme Full driving licence (Essential) Obtained SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent (desirable) If this sounds like the position for you, don't delay!
