We are looking for a part-time (25 hours) Care Navigator/Receptionist to join our friendly, patient-focused team. This position is a permanent one and working hours will be over 5 weekdays, shift patterns to be confirmed. Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be: Organised, efficient and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and effective communication within our multi-professional Primary Care Team. Capable of prioritising your own workload, confident and adaptable to both change and challenging situations in a busy environment. Demonstrating co-operative and productive working with people of all backgrounds; a second language would be desirable for this role. Computer literate, experienced in the use of electronic communications and confident during face-to-face interactions with patients. Able to show attention to detail even under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and delivering accurate and clear information to appropriate parties in a timely manner. Relevant training and professional development will be provided for the successful applicant. About us

Experience

Communication skills, both written and verbal. Competent use of IT. Ability to deal confidently and courteously with people both in person and over the telephone. Ability to work flexibly as a team member. Able to work on own initiative and prioritise workload. Empathetic, honest & caring. Able to work under pressure. Competent in the use of Systmone. Qualifications

Experience of working in a patient-focused environment. An understanding, acceptance, and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality. GCSE English language, grade C or above (or equivalent). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. NVQ 2/3 Customer Service (or equivalent). Disclosure and Barring Service Check
