Healthcare - Care Services As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need. Your primary focus will be on assisting with daily living activities, meal preparation, and ensuring the well-being of those under your care. This role requires a dedicated individual with a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for others. Duties: Provide direct care and support to individuals in various settings such as nursing homes, childcare facilities, or private homes. Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and toileting. Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements. Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive environment. Offer companionship and emotional support to individuals in your care. Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times. Handle emergency situations effectively, including administering first aid when necessary. Specialise in dementia care for individuals requiring specialised attention. Qualifications: Previous experience in nursing homes, childcare, or similar care settings is preferred. Mandatory care training or Level 2. Strong understanding of behavior management techniques. Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and empathy towards others.
