As a Support Worker, you will be part of a wider friendly team, responsible for ensuring that our Service Users receive high levels of Care & Support within their homes; when out in the community and assisting with hospital discharges.

We offer a range of services in the community including:

Personal Care & Social Inclusion

Home Care

Live-in Care & Sitting Services

Shopping and Preparing Meals

Meals Out & Social Activities

Escorted Day Trips (church, bingo, pub, cafe, gym etc.)

Escorted Short- & Long-Term Breaks

Cleaning & Laundry

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

To undertake, with guidance and support, the tasks necessary to enable Service Users to maintain everyday living skills and to help acquire new skills.

To help Service Users make full use of the community resources and facilities such as supermarkets, places of worship or leisure facilities.

To help provide the personal care and supervision required by individual Service Users.

JOB ACTIVITIES

Assist in the preparation and implementation of a range of daily activities as directed by senior Assisted Lives staff or by Service Users as part of an agreed care plan.

Assist meeting the personal needs of our Service Users including assistance with eating, toileting, bathing, dealing with incontinence or shopping and other household tasks.

Provide any written reports or records required by the Assisted Lives Support Worker or managers.

Experience is NOT necessary; we will give you all the training you need to be the best you can be in your role - all we ask is that you bring us your commitment to excellent care, your empathy for people, and your passion for making a difference. NVQ level 2 or a Diploma in Health & Social Care is desirable but NOT necessary.

Driving License and access to your own vehicle is ESSENTIAL.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, and various shift patterns.

Salary: 21+ £12.08, 18-21: £11.44.
