Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant or a Care Assistant in a healthcare setting? Do you want to develop your career in a private healthcare setting?

We have an exciting opportunity for a strong and empathetic support worker to join our Inpatient team as a Care Support Worker.

You will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, supporting the nursing staff in providing exemplary care to patients throughout their stay, from admission to discharge.

This role is ideally suited to a support worker who has previously worked as a Care Support Worker, Health Care Assistant, Clinical Support Worker, or Nursing Assistant in a clinical environment.

This is a 37.5 hour per week post working 3 Shifts Monday - Sunday 07:30 - 20:00 or 19:30 - 08:15 on a rota basis.

Main duties of the job Role Responsibilities

As a clinical support worker you will:

Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for own actions.

Monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, post surgery.

Chaperone patients when required.

Be willing to undertake phlebotomy when appropriately trained.

Respect and ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.

Person Specification Qualifications

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or Care Certificate

Experience

Experience working as a support worker in a clinical environment.

A caring and compassionate attitude.

Experience working in a hospital environment.
