Full time 35 Hours a Week Job Summary The Care Team Leader plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the care provided to residents within our organisation. This position requires a compassionate individual who can lead a team of caregivers, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained while fostering a supportive environment for both staff and residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in our care. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of caregivers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional care. Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents, regularly reviewing and updating as necessary. Conduct assessments of residents needs and preferences, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Monitor the performance of team members, providing constructive feedback and facilitating professional development opportunities. Maintain accurate records of residents care activities, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements. Foster positive relationships with residents and their families, addressing concerns and promoting open communication. Organise team meetings to discuss residents progress, share best practices, and enhance team cohesion. Ensure that all health and safety protocols are adhered to within the care environment. Requirements Previous experience in a leadership role within a healthcare or social care setting is essential. Strong understanding of person-centred care principles and practices. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating initiative. A relevant Level 3 or 4 qualification in health or social care is desirable Proficiency in record keeping and familiarity with care management software is an advantage. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
