Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality care within our care home. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a drive for excellence, and the ability to effectively communicate with both staff and residents. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents while fostering a supportive environment for your team.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of care staff, ensuring that all members are trained and supported in their roles. Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans for residents, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Monitor the quality of care provided by the team, implementing improvements as necessary to maintain high standards. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss resident care, address concerns, and promote teamwork. Maintain accurate records of resident care and staff performance in compliance with regulatory requirements. Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all residents. Experience:

Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is essential. Proven supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively. Strong IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with other professionals. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with residents and their families. A solid understanding of care plans and the ability to adapt them based on changing needs. Leadership experience within a care home setting is highly desirable but not mandatory.
