About you:

Ideally, for this role, we are looking for a qualified Care Worker (Level 3 in Residential Childcare) who has experience of working within a SEMH (social, emotional and mental health difficulties) setting, and has a passion for supporting children to develop and thrive. Austen Cottage in Coventry is for children and young people aged between 9 and 17 who may have experienced social, emotional and mental health needs. We will be providing a nurturing home led by highly-experienced managers and with a strong, vibrant team. Kedleston Group Limited is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its children and young people, and we expect all staff to share this commitment. You will be expected to engage in annual safeguarding training and remain vigilant regarding any concerns about a child. The successful candidate is required to provide references and will be expected to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
