About us

Approved Care and Support are a private home care provider based in Oswestry. We are built on many years’ experience and are passionate about providing a quality service in and around the Oswestry area.

We are currently offering a £300 bonus for joining us through this advert.

Our amazing team of care workers make a difference to the lives of others on a daily basis, bringing a smile to the faces of our customers. They support people to remain in their own homes, helping them to stay as independent as possible.

We currently have vacancies available and are looking for people to join our lovely team of carers. The industry needs people who care. We have positions for both male and female care workers to join our fabulous team.

We pay from £11.60 per hour, plus holiday pay, plus travel time.

Job Requirements

Previous experience as a Care worker or similar role is desirable, but not essential as training will be given.

A positive welcoming attitude and good communication skills.

Commitment to delivering a high level of care.

Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team.

Flexibility to work hours as determined by the business, there are

full-time

and

part time,

evening

and

weekend

positions available.

A genuine caring nature, empathy and a positive attitude is required for this position.

Responsibilities for Care Worker

Dressing and undressing

Washing/bathing/showering/ shaving/cleaning teeth

Toileting and all aspects of personal hygiene

Administration of Medication

Getting in and out of bed

Food preparation

General cleaning duties

Shopping
