As a Care Worker in our Older People Services, you’ll play an essential role in supporting individuals to live with dignity and purpose. Working collaboratively with the people you support, their families, and other professionals, you’ll provide care that’s tailored to individual needs. From assisting with personal care to promoting mental and physical well-being, you’ll contribute to creating an environment where everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered. In this role, you’ll work closely with individuals to implement and review personalised care plans that reflect their preferences and goals. Your responsibilities will include supporting daily activities, helping people access necessary aids or equipment, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. You’ll also provide compassionate care during times of illness or at the end of life, ensuring comfort and dignity in every situation. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives while working as part of a supportive and inclusive team. As we do our work in Christ’s name, the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010. This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration. This permission is without exception granted by UK Visas and Immigrations.
