Broadmeadow is a care centre in Folkestone, Kent that provides short term placements, assisting people to regain their independence and meet their aims and objectives. By promoting independence and delivering person centred care, you’ll be making a real difference to people’s everyday lives. Your day-to-day might include: Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing, Assisting people to eat and drink, Supporting people with their daily activities, Monitoring individual’s conditions, Engaging service users with social activities. We have care worker vacancies available, and we can be flexible in the hours offered (To be discussed at interview). We are able to offer you a comprehensive induction package. This will include mandatory training as well as access to multiple personal development courses. You will already hold an NVQ/Diploma Level 2 or equivalent; however, we can also offer this programme to the right candidate if not held upon commencing employment. Shifts start from 0730 - 1430 or 1430 - 2130 and you will work on an 'as needed' basis, selecting the shifts to suit you enabling a more flexible work-life relationship.
