Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care or senior care and possess the skills necessary to ensure the well-being and comfort of those they care for. This role involves working closely with clients to enhance their quality of life while promoting independence and dignity. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in condition. Provide care for individuals with specific needs, such as dementia or other health conditions. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document care provided and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Requirements Previous experience in childcare, home care, or nursing home settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Relevant certifications in caregiving or health-related fields are an advantage but not mandatory. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if needed.
