Can you support unpaid Carers by assessing their needs?

n-compass are looking to recruit a Carers Information & Support Officer as part of the Rochdale team, who will benefit from joining a busy and dynamic team in a truly hybrid working environment. The role is to cover the Rochdale area, and proactively identify Carers, provide them with information, advice and support including supporting them to access services, peer support and short break opportunities in order to reduce the impact of their caring role.

About you

We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting unpaid Carers to reduce the impacts of their caring role by providing professional and quality support. We are looking for people with: The ability to listen and communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals. Experience of sensitively discussing and gathering information from people who want to access support. The ability to provide individualised 1-1 support to adults. Most importantly, we are looking for people who are highly motivated, hardworking, flexible and who really want to make a difference.
