Job Summary This is an exciting opportunity to join the Mental Health Urgent Care Services as the Carer's Lead. The services provide time-limited support to people experiencing a mental health crisis, and the Carer's Lead will be responsible for ensuring that those supporting individuals are themselves supported and educated, delivering individual and group facilitated sessions to this cohort. This is a part-time role requiring high levels of visibility to ensure the Carer's voice is heard within the services. Working flexible hours, including some evenings, will be necessary to ensure Carers have the opportunity to receive support. Main Duties of the Job

Implementing the Trust's carers strategy across mental health urgent care. Developing carer strategy action plans for mental health urgent care services, evidencing the impact, evaluating effectiveness, and measuring outcomes. Responsible for introducing quality improvement initiatives and activities to enhance carer services within mental health urgent care. Design and deliver carers psychoeducation and support programmes across all mental health urgent care pathways. Engage and involve friends, family, and carers in service design and development activities to ensure the carer voice is heard. About Us

The Must Haves for This Role: Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent skills in research, writing, or analysis. Significant experience working within mental health services. Evidence of continuing professional development. Previous experience of supporting, leading, and facilitating groups ideally carer groups.
