The Sales Representative drives dynamic sales efforts through spot quotations, proactive outreach, and managing allocations and bookings. They seize opportunities, coordinate impactful sales visits, and foster strong customer relationships. Additionally, they champion customer retention and actively promote LCAG eServices to enhance the customer experience.

Tasks

You will be responsible for the following: Achieves sales targets for assigned accounts Creates rate offers and manages transportation agreements Identifies and develops opportunities with existing customers for long-term business Acquires new customers and explores new business opportunities Conducts market analysis and develops action plans in collaboration with the Commercial Team Organizes and performs sales visits and presentations to promote LCAG products and services Plans customer events and maintains customer data in the CRM tool Coordinates with internal teams to share customer insights and support segmentation Processes customer requests, bookings, and quotations while ensuring profitability Handles charter requests, ex-works pick-ups, and spot quotes Acts as a customer touchpoint for claims and promotes eClaims usage Participates in local sales events

Requirements

You should meet the following requirements: High school diploma/GED is required Bachelor's degree would be desirable 2-3 years previous cargo experience, preferred sales experience or in a related area such as in the transport and logistics industry Excellent written and spoken English language skills required Knowledge of German language desirable Previous experience in Airfreight, Logistics, Transportation or Sales is required Advanced IT knowledge, preferably including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Knowledge of all relevant LH Cargo systems
