Carpenters/Joiners

with general building experience to join our Estates team on a full-time, permanent basis. Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Estates helpdesk Team you will be required to deliver a first class carpentry installation and maintenance service across a variety of properties on campus. It’s a varied role and represents a great opportunity to join a close knit team. These positions will primarily be based from our Penryn Campus; however, there may be a requirement for you to work at our Falmouth Campus on occasion. About You We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who will be City and Guilds qualified or hold an NVQ equivalent in Carpentry/Joinery, along with substantial post-qualification experience in a similar role. The ideal candidates will be able to work on their own initiative, assess and solve problems on site, and operate effectively as part of a great team. We would like to hear from you if you have the following skills/experience: Experience of working in a building maintenance role in a commercial environment or housing/accommodation environment Good communication & customer service skills A current full clean driving licence. The working hours for this role will mainly be Monday to Friday each week; however, flexibility is key for this role as some weekend work may be required. You must be willing to participate in the Out of Hours Call out rota. This position is offered on a permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week contract working 8.30am to 17.00pm, Monday to Friday.
