On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Carpentry Supervisor to join a dynamic team in Brookwood, Woking. This role involves supervising skilled carpenters and ensuring the successful delivery of fire door remedial work. BPSS clearance is required, but we can assist successful candidates through the clearance process.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a team of carpenters on-site, ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards. Oversee fire door remedials, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and client expectations. Coordinate daily operations, allocate tasks, and manage workloads to meet deadlines. Conduct quality checks and ensure remedial issues are addressed promptly. Act as the main point of contact between the client and the project team. Uphold and enforce health and safety standards on-site.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Carpentry Supervisor or in a similar leadership role. BPSS clearance (or willingness to obtain clearance with agency support). In-depth knowledge of fire door installation and remedial work. Excellent leadership and organizational abilities. Familiarity with technical drawings and specifications. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
