Caseworker

Working within Middlesbrough Council, our team helps those experiencing problems with substance use, domestic abuse, and homelessness. We are looking for a passionate, motivated individual to join our team as a Caseworker. The successful candidate will manage a case load of clients with issues around alcohol and substance use, delivering a range of psychosocial interventions to help clients reach their health and wellbeing goals. Previous experience and/or knowledge of substance use services would be advantageous but is not essential as a comprehensive training package will be provided. Similarly, previous experience within this field is desirable but not essential. We are looking for transferrable skills such as: Caseload management Care planning Risk management Previous experience of working with vulnerable clients This job would be good for those who have previously worked in a support setting. We also welcome those with lived experience. You will also need a full UK driving licence and business insurance in place prior to commencing in post.
