This role supports the company's strategic goals by optimising manufacturing efficiency, addressing production challenges, and implementing new casting technologies. Oversee the design, development, maintenance and continuous improvement of industrial Aerospace casting processes within the supply chain across the SEP Group. Support cost reduction initiatives, help manage project budgets, and monitor production costs to ensure alignment with financial targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, production teams, quality managers, and external suppliers. The role does not directly manage a team but works as a key liaison. Responsible for coordinating with suppliers, managing casting volumes, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products to meet client specifications. Will be involved with multiple sites and production units as necessary. Lead initiatives to enhance existing casting processes, reducing defects and improving product quality while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. Collaborate with product design teams to develop optimised casting designs, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Provide technical support to the production team, troubleshooting issues related to casting defects, material selection, and equipment. Work closely with suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards, optimize material costs, and resolve any supplier-related issues. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to monitor and ensure consistency in casting products. Lead or support industrial casting projects, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables to meet customer requirements and internal objectives. Job Requirements

A degree or equivalent in relevant mechanical engineering background. Experience with casting processes within Aerospace, ideally aluminium and magnesium sand and investment castings. Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. French and English speaking would be beneficial. In-depth knowledge of casting processes, defect analysis, process limitations, and material selection. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong project management capabilities, familiarity with CAD software and casting simulation tools. Specificity of the job
