Casual Duty Officer Salary: £14.60 per hour Locations: Tendring, Essex Clacton Leisure Centre Dovercourt Bay Lifestyles Walton on the Naze Lifestyle We are pleased to support in recruiting a Casual Duty Officer to oversee operations across three key sports facilities: About the Role As a Casual Duty Officer, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the Council's sports facilities, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and staff management. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day management of the sports facilities Provide excellent customer service and respond to enquiries Supervise and manage staff to ensure smooth operations Ensure health and safety compliance for staff and customers Act as a key holder, responsible for facility security and maintenance Maintain vending machines and oversee pool plant operations Undertake emergency and routine maintenance as needed What You Need GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) Leadership or management qualification (or equivalent experience) RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (dependent on location) Pool Plant Operators Certificate (dependent on location) Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in the community while working in a dynamic sports environment.
