Casual Catering Manager , you will cover all aspects of catering operations on a day to day basis running numerous outlets situated across the venue. You will also need to support a wide range of hospitality events and conferences. The role will require energy, confidence, problem solving skills and some previous supervisory experience. Complete accurate forecasting and reporting of financial data in accordance with set deadlines, consulting as necessary with Catering Operations Manager suggestions to improve profitability of area. Implement and manage group health and safety, fire safety policies, procedures, and arrangements as applicable to your work activities and working environment. Proactively manage resources and take appropriate action to changes in the business, including controlling the temporary labour budget. Manage, train and develop all colleagues within your area to deliver business activity now and in the future. Deputise for Catering Operations Manager in their absence. Implement, monitor and oversee delivery of all standards, meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Provide effective complaint handling in accordance with standards by investigating complaints, liaising with customers and staff to determine necessary action. Demonstrate high leadership skills to provide the basis for high group morale and staff motivation. Allocate duties and responsibilities to all team members. Ensure that all pre-booked goods and services are carefully noted and delivered to the customer’s satisfaction. Control of the temporary labour budget. Be involved in sales meetings identifying opportunities to theme and create new concepts for both retail and hospitality offers. Skills and Experience needed:
Experience in a multi-faceted catering retail environment or experience in a Junior Manager position. Proven ability to work under pressure with excellent customer service skills and an eye for attention to detail. Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office. Numerate and literate with good verbal and written communication skills. Benefits:
