On behalf of our client, a leading linen service provider in South Brisbane, we are seeking a skilled and reliable

Maintenance Electrician

to join their team. This role is vital to ensuring the efficiency and safety of their electrical systems within a fast-paced, high-demand industrial facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular maintenance, repairs, and installations of electrical systems and equipment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in industrial machinery, control systems, and plant equipment. Test, inspect, and ensure all electrical systems comply with relevant industry standards. Minimize downtime by responding promptly to electrical breakdowns and performing efficient repairs. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks and recommend system improvements for enhanced performance and reliability. Collaborate with production and operations teams to optimize system uptime and productivity. Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities. Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety procedures at all times. Requirements: Electrical trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent). Current Electrical License for Queensland. Proven experience as a maintenance electrician, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motors, drives, PLCs, and control panels. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. A commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations.
