The Role Usually spending your time on one community, you will be familiar with your residents and their individual needs. You will work with a buddy whilst you complete all internal training and grow your confidence to operate with the autonomy you're afforded. You will be part of an MDT approach to supporting residents, liaising with other health professionals such as GPs and dieticians, assessing plans for care and reviewing medication. Our nurses play a pivotal role in supporting the person and their family. Upon joining, you will commence a journey through our bespoke Nursing Development Portfolio that delivers a blended programme of training, coaching & competencies, whilst accessing online courses certified by Health Education England. Together with this, you will receive full training on our electronic medication and electronic care planning systems. Our nursing teams will also enjoy opportunities to undertake external training accredited through universities to help towards CPD and revalidation. Courses can include advanced clinical skills, wound care, NEWS TWO, palliative care and end of life. Joining mentorship training programmes is also an option for those who are interested in coaching new nurses through their learning journey. About us
