Sports Direct is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Casual Sales Assistant to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom. As a Casual Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Provide expert product knowledge and advice to help customers make informed purchasing decisions Maintain a clean and well-organised sales floor Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high customer satisfaction Participate in visual merchandising and store displays Adhere to company policies and procedures Assist with additional tasks as required by the management team Think without limits - Think fast, fearlessly, and take the team with you. Own it and back yourself - Own the basics, own your role, and own the results. Be relevant - Relevant to our people, our partners, and the planet. This role has no guaranteed work hours, which can vary from week to week, and there may be weeks when no hours of work are offered.

Salary:

*Salary is based on age range (16-20 £8.65) (21+ £11.50) Minimum Requirements:

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written Enthusiasm for sports and fitness products Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing transactions Team player with a positive attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
