Our client is an innovative and highly successful Lloyds Broker based in the City of London. Established over 20 years ago, you will join a business with an established Pan-European footprint. This Placing Broker role is a key position and you will work closely with the MD to ensure a highly knowledgeable and effective service for clients and insurers.
Essential Requirements
* Proficiency in Italian together with fluent English language skills
* In-depth experience and understanding of casualty products and relevant markets
* Experience of placing risks into the Syndicate & Company markets
Overview
* Liaise with producing partners in Italy and other European territories to obtain risk information and understand insurance needs.
* Prepare broking presentations to Lloyds, Company and overseas markets
* Identify suitable markets and devise a placement strategy
* Lead insurer negotiations
* Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients to maximise loyalty, growth and revenue streams.
* Ensure positive relationships with key insurer markets.
What you need to know
* Salary is Open and will be dependent on your relevant knowledge, pertinent, skills/experience and what value you can add to the role and wider company.
* Benefits package, commissions & annual bonus
* City of London based role for 4 days per week.
* Our client has adopted an innovative work/life employment model. You work for 4 days per week but receive a full salary. So, work 80% of the hours for 100% of the pay.
