An exciting new opportunity with a world leading British engineering company. We are looking for an ambitious Senior Buyer/Category Manager with experience in FM Procurement.
This is a great opportunity to grow your experience with a respected engineering company who literally help to save lives.
You will be responsible for sourcing Facilities services and products and will be the primary point of contact for suppliers, managing relationships including performance against KPI indicators, proactively identifying and managing risks, and identifying new suppliers via tendering, RFI and RFQ exercises.
Our client has some high profile and exciting projects on the horizon, and you will be responsible for account managing existing and new suppliers.
Previous FM category experience is a must.
Senior Buyer will have:
Excellent networking and relationship building skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
Knowledge of SAP or related MRP/ERP systems and import/export requirements.
