Category Manager - FMCG Beauty, Personal Care, or Consumer Goods Location: Offices near Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey (hybrid: work from home 1 day per week) Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 per annum plus bonus Benefits: Generous package including pension, private healthcare, life insurance, company discounts, 25 days annual leave, and more. We're looking for an experienced Category Manager with experience in beauty, personal care, or consumer goods. Shape and lead category strategies that drive growth and align with company goals. Provide clear structure and direction to internal teams, ensuring alignment on marketing campaigns and market trends. Develop and negotiate compelling price promotions to boost brand demand across retail partners. Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to unlock new growth opportunities. Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and product performance. Use data insights to proactively and reactively influence brand strategies. Deliver clear and impactful communication across the business. Share key brand metrics and insights to influence stakeholders and drive decision-making. Build and nurture strong relationships with retail partners and internal teams. Create and execute impactful marketing strategies and campaigns, working collaboratively to deliver results. Previous success managing beauty, personal care, or consumer goods brands in the FMCG space. The ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive brand performance. Strong negotiation skills and experience designing impactful price promotions. Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships.
