Reporting to our Group Procurement Manager, you will join a team of 5 Category Managers. Your role is to lead and manage supplier relations commercially and contractually, from finding suppliers to selecting them. You negotiate prices and set expected service levels. You propose medium-term purchasing strategies for non-substitutable products, in compliance with safety and environmental regulations and continuous improvement policies. To achieve this objective, your key activities will be: Define and coordinate supplier selection and evaluation processes, approve the choice of a supplier, administer contract management, and plan and control supplier monitoring and continuous improvement action plans as requested. Propose, submit, and evaluate calls to tender in collaboration with the Marketing, R&D, Supply, Logistics, and Sales departments, and design and support upstream product development (Design To Cost). Develop, evaluate, propose, and implement medium-term strategies by category based on supplier risk management, after approval by management. Optimize supplier performance: productivity, technologies, service levels, prices, etc. Coordinate R&D and central marketing enquiries with suppliers. The location for this position is flexible: Tewkesbury in the UK, Lisbon in Portugal, or Barcelona in Spain. Regular trips to the different sites will be required. Your qualifications and skills

With a master’s degree in supply chain, you have at least 7 years of proven experience in tactical and strategic procurement roles in an international environment with a multicultural team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical capabilities and advanced negotiation and communication skills to build strong supplier relationships and secure optimal terms. The position requires strategic thinking and decision-making abilities to drive cost optimization and process improvements. Natural curiosity and eagerness to explore innovative procurement strategies and emerging market opportunities are essential. English fluency is a prerequisite. Proficiency in French and/or German would be advantageous for supplier communication in an international context. Proficiency in SAP and Excel is also required.
