Description Overview Are you passionate about Global Brand strategy? We are hiring an experienced Global Category Lead to drive one of our key strategic global portfolios in one of our European Head Offices.

Scope of the Role

Lead a portfolio of categories by influencing, collaborating & coordinating a cross-functional team & senior stakeholder management.

Be responsible for the full development of the 5Y category strategy across the portfolio: define a clear growth roadmap with a consumer first approach (product innovation, go to market strategy, activation platform).

Set category growth objectives (short & long term) to identify the key levers of acceleration.

Define, plan, execute & evaluate success of the innovation pipeline (concept, research and development, go-to-market, success model, KPIs).

Drive best in class activation & execution toolkits (TVC, digital, POS), with the right consumer insights & touchpoints in partnership with top tier countries.

Actively partner with top tier countries across Europe.

Coach & develop a top-notch team to grow talent within the organisation.

Full P&L ownership including country tracking & A&P management. Drive optimisations & anticipate risks.

Anticipate consumer trends, competition & new regulations and how these fit into our growth strategy roadmap.

Report, track, learn & suggest improvements by analysing the impact on sales of marketing actions.

Experience Required

Leadership skills with a proven record as a strategic thinker and equally the ability to execute with excellence.

Team development & performance management.

Stakeholder management skills able to influence peers, leadership, exec and local teams.

Proven track record in generating growth through creative thinking, NPD management and 4Ps excellence.

A strong drive for results, can do attitude and performance tracking.

Analytical skills.

Willingness to travel: 20-30% of the time.

Fluency in English.

Experience analysing market data (IQVIA, Nielsen, IRI) & financials (P&L ownership).

To qualify for the role, we’d like an experienced marketer (10 years +) preferably in Healthcare, OTC or FMCG and someone who loves to roll up their sleeves and lead by example.
