Job Introduction

We are currently looking to recruit an excellent and experienced hands-on Catering Manager to join our key high-profile client site in Melton Mowbray.

As Catering Manager, you will ensure the catering service is delivered within this busy fast-paced catering outlet. You will be responsible for ensuring the right resources (stock, equipment, and staff) are in the correct place at the correct time to ensure the service is delivered to the required standard to meet the customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have contract catering experience, be customer-facing, and have team-leading skills. Main Responsibilities What you’ll do:

Manage the catering team in line with Sodexo Processes and Procedures

Be responsible for all aspects of food preparation to include daily and weekly menus

All stock ordering

All stock taking

All COSHH assessments

Adhere to all food management processes

Train and support staff

Weekly & Monthly reporting

Banking / collating figures from VMC / Credit Card into system

Cashing up

KPIs

Ideal Candidate What you bring:

Essential

Experience in Managing a team

Relevant Catering Qualification ie: 701/702 accredited or NVQ Level 3 or above

Great Customer / Client Facing Skills

Computer Literate in Word, Excel, Outlook etc.

Basic numeracy / literacy skills

Physically fit and be able to perform the role

Excellent Time management

Flexibility

Desirable

Management Experience

Experience in Contract catering preferred but not essential
