The work of the team is highly valued and crucial to school success; the Catering Manager role is central to this and we are therefore looking for an exceptional individual who can rise to the challenge of delivering successfully across the many facets of the role. The role offers an excellent opportunity for the right person to build on the good work of the previous postholder, add fresh ideas and enthusiasm and take our catering operations to the next level. In particular, the following attributes are especially important: Strong people manager able to work with and through a varied team to bring about service improvements and changes Previous experience of leading and delivering large scale, cost effective catering operations in schools or a similar environment Able to build strong and effective relationships with colleagues at all levels and act as a role model to our students Able to bring fresh ideas to our service offerings and to engage positively with customer feedback and comments Working Hours and Pattern, Salary and Benefits
40 hours per week, 7am to 3.30pm (with a 30 minute break) Monday to Friday during term time plus 3 weeks. Scale point 21 to 24. Actual salary £31,256-33,397 rising to £31,815-£33,994 after 5 years’ service.
