Duties:
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
Oversee and assist kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
Ensure proper portion control and presentation of dishes
Monitor food quality and taste for consistency
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with the chef to develop new menu items
Train new kitchen staff members
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
Ability to work well in a team environment
