Our client is a leading team of security experts, engineers and risk consultants, who work with commercial companies, high risk clients and high net-worth individuals to implement strategies that protect assets and reduce operational risks.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a reliable and experienced CCTV Security Engineer who will play a critical role in helping us implement and maintain security measures that safeguard the interests of our clients. This includes developing technical solutions to mitigate cybersecurity risks, improve physical security, and enhance overall risk management frameworks. As part of a collaborative team, the Security Engineer will work closely with other security experts, risk consultants, and engineers to provide innovative and comprehensive protection strategies for high-net-worth individuals, high-risk clients, and commercial enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Setup: Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and associated security equipment at customer sites. Ensure proper wiring, power supply, and network connections for CCTV systems. Perform system calibration to ensure optimal video quality and coverage. Maintenance & Repair: Provide regular maintenance to ensure CCTV systems are operating at peak performance. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on-site and remotely. Repair faulty CCTV equipment and replace parts when necessary. System Upgrades: Advise clients on system upgrades and improvements based on their security needs. Perform system updates, including software and firmware upgrades, to maintain system functionality and security. Client Support: Provide high-quality customer service during all on-site and remote interactions. Conduct system demonstrations and provide training to clients on using CCTV systems and associated software. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of system installations, maintenance schedules, and repairs. Complete service reports and ensure all documentation is up to date. Monitor system performance and provide feedback for improvement. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all installations comply with local security regulations and industry standards. Adhere to health and safety guidelines while working on-site.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a CCTV Engineer or in a similar technical support role. Strong understanding of CCTV systems, including IP cameras, analog systems, DVRs, NVRs, and related components. Proficiency in networking and IP configuration (e.g., port forwarding, IP addressing, routers, and switches). Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively. Familiarity with common security software (e.g., video management software, remote viewing applications). Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving license.
