This exciting role will involve working on a number of projects across public and private sectors on a mixture of new build, refurbishment, tall building remediation, and maintenance schemes, including NHS, Universities, and data centres. The role involves working on multiple projects across London, Home Counties, and the Southeast, visiting sites and reporting, as well as representing Bellrock Compliance to clients and contractors. The Safety Compliance team is thriving, with an ever-growing client base and great opportunities for training and development. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can demonstrate strong leadership qualities with a ‘can do’ attitude. The role will include working closely with our clients and internal teams to deliver projects in a safe and compliant manner. We have set high standards for Health and Safety and are looking for individuals who can undertake the CDMA/PD roles with a professional, constructive, and collaborative approach. As a CDM Consultant with Bellrock, you’ll do it by: You will be fulfilling the duties of the Principal Designer as defined under CDM 2015, including where necessary carrying out the role of CDM-Advisor to support the client. You’ll have relevant knowledge and understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and other relevant legislation, and you’ll be able to apply and implement those requirements at project level. You’ll be planning, managing, monitoring, and coordinating pre-construction phases of projects to identify, eliminate, or control significant and foreseeable risks relating to construction, maintenance, cleaning, and using the building as a workplace. You’ll work with the client to gather preconstruction information, assess the adequacy, identify gaps, and provide advice on how they might be filled and distribute to those that need it. You’ll manage multiple projects for key clients, particularly focused on the high-rise residential refurbishment, development, and commercial sector. You’ll attend client meetings, carry out H&S site inspections, and deliver high-quality reports to the client within agreed deadlines. You will provide clear, concise, and practical Health and Safety advice, guidance, and coaching to project teams throughout all stages of the project. You’ll be responsible for collating, preparing, and issuing Health & Safety Files to the client. You’ll manage agreed fees, confirm invoicing, close out appointments, and support debtor control. You’ll explore potential cross-sell opportunities across the wider Bellrock teams. What does it take? If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a CDM Consultant, you’ll need: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction industry with experience of CDM/Health and Safety issues in construction. Excellent working knowledge and understanding of CDM 2015 and appropriate legislation. A NEBOSH Construction Certificate. Ideally, be an incorporated member of the Association for Project Safety (IMaPs) or IOSH. A full and clean driver’s license. A willingness to travel to varied sites across London, Home Counties, and the Southeast. Be well motivated. Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. A confident, clear, and articulate communicator with effective interpersonal skills with clients, contractors, and colleagues in verbal and written format. Comfortable with working autonomously and managing your own workload effectively. A natural curiosity for problem-solving. A passion for developing yourself and others. An effective decision-maker and an excellent team player. A desire for ownership, accountability, and responsibility. A wish to ‘make a difference’. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from home with occasional travel to either our Northampton, Leicester, or London offices.
