We’re working with a well-established construction safety consultancy that provides expert CDM and Principal Designer services across a diverse range of projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Principal Designer/CDM Consultant to join their Leeds-based team on a hybrid basis.
The Role:
As a CDM Principal Designer, you will: Provide expert CDM 2015 compliance advice to clients, designers, and contractors. Undertake Principal Designer duties, ensuring H&S risk management is embedded from the pre-construction phase. Conduct design risk reviews, liaising with architects and engineers to influence safer designs. Work across a variety of commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. Maintain strong client relationships and deliver bespoke CDM consultancy services. About You:
Proven experience as a Principal Designer/CDM Consultant within the construction industry. Strong understanding of CDM Regulations 2015 and associated health & safety legislation. Background in architecture, engineering, construction health & safety, or similar. Professional qualifications such as NEBOSH Construction, APS Membership (IMaPS/CMaPS), or equivalent are desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence design teams and clients. What’s On Offer?
