To be responsible for maintaining a high level of stock management, stock rotation, and effective stock distribution across all areas of the business, whilst maintaining good housekeeping practices. Working Relationships: Site General Manager and Operations Manager Bar Persons Please note you must be over 18 for this role and be comfortable with heavy lifting. Manage wet stock levels and ensure an effective stock rotation procedure across all areas. Ensure any stock transfers are recorded on the event preparation sheet. Assist cellar manager/supervisor with stocktakes ensuring all figures are accurate. Carry out all cellar tasks with Sodexo Health & Safety regulations in mind, using PPE when required. Dispose of waste products and record as wastage, informing your cellar supervisor. Report any damage to equipment or health and safety issues in a timely manner. Complete the closedown check sheet at the end of every shift. Maintain company standards for cellar operations. Ensure cellar operations are performed in line with the site's SOPs. Use loose stock first to maintain good housekeeping and keep all areas tidy. Conduct duties in a manner that reflects the business positively. Liaise regularly with Cellar Supervisor if noticing low stock levels of a certain product. Wear safety boots & protective clothing throughout the shift. Tidy the main cellar at the end of each shift.
