£44,000- £53,000 per annum DOE About this role:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Central Finance Manager will lead the day to day running of the central finance team managing a team of three. They will be accountable for preparing the annual Statutory Accounts and associated notes for the Trust, its two joint ventures, the Consolidated group accounts, and the delivery of the year end audit file for the external auditors, being a primary contact for any audit queries. Responsible for the review of all balance sheet control accounts maintaining a robust financial control environment, providing support across the Finance team to ensure the accuracy of postings and period end balances. Responsible for the month end close process and has oversight of the consolidated reporting packs for the Trust; supporting the financial management and reporting of the joint venture partnerships. Responsible for implementing and maintaining intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes for all intercompany transactions. The role will also lead the external audit process of the group accounts, anticipating the external auditor's requirements and demonstrating a pro-active approach to preparing for the audit to ensure the accounts are signed off promptly. You will be:

Educated to Degree Level. Hold a recognized Accounting Qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA). Evidence of own career and professional development. Experience in a large accounting function and management position with proven track record of leading and coaching a team. Willing to attend meetings and training in other Trust locations during office hours; including overnight stays where required. Benefits of this role:
