6/3/2024 Scouts Scotland Fordell Firs Hillend Dunfermline Fife KY11 7HQ Post closes Thursday 28th March We are seeking an experienced individual with a passion for Outdoors and Adventure to manage our Scout Adventures Fordell Firs Centre. You will be responsible for growing internal (Scouting) and external customer use, business performance, continued development of our customer experience to ensure quality programmes and events. You will further develop our site, accommodation and facilities for adventure, challenge and learning, and ensure that all aspects of the Centre’s operation are delivered to the required safety and quality standards. About Us Scout Adventures Fordell Firs offers an incredible range of outdoor activities on site, and we’re close to the fantastic cultural and tourist attractions of Edinburgh and Fife. With over 75 years of outdoor learning experience, our centre is perfect for youth groups and schools to develop team building skills, confidence and experience something they may have not before. About You It’s the people that make Scout Adventures Fordell Firs an amazing place and you'll be no exception! You will have an appreciation of what it takes to deliver a first-class experience and will be able to make sure quality and consistency is maintained at all times through inspiring and motivating your team. You must be friendly and approachable whilst able to uphold our organisational values and ensure that this is embedded within the staffing and volunteering teams. While embracing our values, you will be business focused and results driven, with a passion for excellence in customer service. Ideally with a background in the outdoor industry, you will have experience and a positive track record in business development and improvement, and working with complex groups of staff, customers and volunteers. You will be a strong team player, able to inspire and motivate your team and have excellent networking skills.
