Humberside Engineering Training Association (HETA) is a rapidly expanding Group Training Association (GTA) with training centres in Hull, Stallingborough, and Scunthorpe. HETA provides training to Level 3 & 4 engineering apprentices, higher education, and upskilling courses for over 300 client companies. HETA is proud to work with some of the biggest names in engineering and manufacturing, supporting the growth of engineering training locally, regionally, and nationally.

An exciting yet rare opportunity has become available in our management team to become the Centre Manager of our South Bank training centres. The purpose is to support the Operations Manager and manage all day-to-day responsibilities within allocated centres.

Activities include but are not limited to: Effectively and efficiently manage staff to ensure the high-quality delivery of teaching, training, and assessment of learners to ensure successful and timely completion of the relevant apprenticeship/16-18 Study Programmes and Commercial Courses within the given timeframes and as per the quality standards of the relevant awarding bodies and regulatory compliance agencies. Ensure HETA's key quality objectives are met by the individual's area of responsibility and the wider organisation, and ensure all staff are aware of the part they play in meeting them. Manage delivery of commercial courses sourced by our sales team. Manage development and standardisation of new and existing courses, ensuring that staff are trained to deliver all aspects of the course contents and supported in the use of systems to track and monitor learners' progress. Promote the highest possible standards in customer care, equal opportunities, and health and safety practices for the benefit of learners and the wider community served by the company. Work collaboratively with other centre managers on the development and standardisation of programmes, ensuring that awarding body quality assurance requirements are met. Manage the planning of the curriculum to ensure efficient use of the facilities to accommodate delivery and efficient deployment of staff.

The position requires the successful applicant to cover both our Scunthorpe and Grimsby sites. Applicants will be required to have a full driving licence with access to their own vehicle.
