The Centura Group is the holding company for several businesses supplying specialist construction services to the UK and international markets. We are now recruiting for a Business Development Manager to develop opportunities for the design and supply of FRP bridges as part of the sales team for Lifespan, identifying new asset maintenance opportunities within the CW region for CRL. In addition to this as our Business Development Manager you will be responsible for: Promotion of Lifespan and CRL services to bridge owners and associated stakeholders, via one-to-one contact, group presentations, exhibitions, and any other relevant marketing activities. Ownership and reporting of sales pipeline and forecasting of sales revenues. Carrying out CPD presentations to bridge engineers and water companies. Ensuring that the Regional Office achieves or exceeds business development targets. Providing outline and tender proposals to bridge owners, water companies, and their stakeholders. Maintenance of prequalification documentation and timely submission of information for potential projects. Securing orders for the design, manufacturing, and supply of bridge structures. Development of new and existing supply chain partners. Understanding of competition positioning and strategy and development of arguments to maintain our differentiation. Understanding sustainability benefits of FRP products on a cradle to gate and beyond basis. Use of Group CRM/ERP system. Carrying out duties in accordance with Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality Management System. Business Development Manager - What we need from you: Experience in the promotion of specialist construction solutions. Experience in selling technical solutions. Experience in working with Marketing to aid Strategy Development and Sales. Experience in providing technical presentations and technical project management. A degree in a relevant subject would be a distinct advantage.
