Due to an increase in workload and continued company growth, my client, an International engineering company based near Barton Under Needwood, are looking to recruit a

Certification Engineer

to join their existing Technical team on a permanent basis. As a Certification Engineer, candidates will be required to check incoming material certification to national and international standards to ensure all required documentation is in place per product for timely delivery. Interested candidates will ideally be Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (Mechanical Engineering/Materials Science) with a demonstrable background within a similar role and working knowledge of quality/materials documentation. Knowledge of Oil and Gas/Nuclear quality standards is advantageous. This position is based on days and available for an immediate start. Hours:

Mon - Thurs: 0830 - 1700 Friday: 0830 - 15.30 Role Description:

Amend or create orders within the bill of materials and produce other relevant documents as required by the relevant procedure. Check incoming material certification in accordance with both national and international standards/specifications. Ensure that base material certificates are compliant with the manufacturing processes. Produce bespoke material certification following internal manufacturing processes. Check laboratory test reports in accordance with the purchase order requirements. Produce in-house NDT reports and ensure compliance with the purchase order. Liaise with 3rd party inspectors in relation to material certification releases. Liaise with clients regarding material certification queries. Liaise with third-party test laboratories in relation to the release of material samples and purchase orders. Expedite orders currently outstanding at the laboratories. Interface with the commercial, technical, manufacturing and expediting departments. Skills & Attributes:

Ideally degree qualified in a relevant discipline. Experience working with quality/materials documentation within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment. Understanding of quality standards used in the Oil and Gas/Nuclear sector (advantageous).
