Our retained client is a private equity backed, multisite business that are looking to appoint a high calibre CFO to lead the business alongside an impressive CEO. With ambitious growth plans and a focus on operational excellence, this is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of a business who are at the forefront of their industry. Backed by a leading private equity firm, the business is positioned for substantial growth (organically and via M&A). The business combines a commitment to excellence with an innovative, results-driven approach. The Role As CFO, you will work closely with the CEO, the private equity investors, and the leadership team to drive the financial performance of the business. You will be responsible for: •

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives. •

Financial Operations:

Oversee all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management. •

Private Equity Partnership:

Act as the key point of contact with the private equity investors, ensuring clear communication and alignment on financial goals, key performance metrics and future exit planning. •

M&A Activity:

Lead any financial due diligence, integration planning, and execution for acquisitions to support the growth strategy. •

Operational Efficiency:

Identify and implement opportunities for cost optimization and operational improvements. •

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure the business adheres to all regulatory and compliance standards, maintaining robust financial controls and mitigating risks. Successful candidate:- The ideal candidate will be a seasoned finance professional with a strong track record in private equity-backed businesses and/or multi-site operations. Key qualifications include: •

Experience:

Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or similar leadership role in a private equity-backed or high-growth business, ideally in a multi-site sector. •

Technical Skills:

Expertise in financial planning, M&A, and performance management. •

Leadership:

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and align teams towards shared goals.
