Our client is a respected discretionary investment manager, who is seeking to appoint an Investment Management Change Lead. This is an ideal role for someone who has process improvement and project management experience within an investment or wealth management environment. Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional who will focus on improving operational processes, supporting strategic business objectives, and implementing key firm-wide projects within the department. Within this role, you will work closely with the Investment Management and Operational teams and managers, as well as colleagues across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Analyse current workflows, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Design and implement more efficient processes to enhance operational effectiveness. Drive change initiatives and establish metrics to track success. Stay informed about industry trends and assess their impact on our business. Train Investment Managers on new tools and best practices to maximize productivity. Collaborate with colleagues to create and refine processes that improve existing practices. Develop monitoring systems to ensure compliance and mitigate operational risks. Identify and address current and potential process risks. Conduct post-implementation reviews to gather feedback and assess outcomes. Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and uphold the highest standards of integrity with a focus on Consumer Duty principles.

While the above outlines the primary responsibilities, you may be asked to take on additional tasks that align with the firm’s business objectives.

An ideal candidate will be someone with a blend of experience, skills, and attributes to excel in this role. You should ideally have some exposure to change and project management processes and at least three years of experience in the financial industry or related markets. You will need to be a strong communicator who can build rapport and influence effectively at all levels, with the confidence to challenge constructively and drive positive outcomes. Being a highly methodical and detail-oriented individual with the ability to coach and share knowledge with individuals and groups, combined with your expertise in creating and delivering impactful training programs, sets you apart. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, as is your adaptability to changing business priorities. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across departments to achieve shared goals.
