Change Manager / Commercial Manager

Up to £87,000 plus company package
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Change Manager / Commercial Manager to join one of the UK's largest contractors working on HS2. This role is part of the change package within the Midlands, with a strong order book and a focus on major structures and technical elements in the civil engineering and infrastructure sector.
Role Purpose: Our client is looking for candidates with experience in managing all commercial aspects of the scheme and leading a team.
Duties:
Measure, record & value work unsupervised in accordance with appropriate rules and procedures. Measure & interpret specifications & drawings. Translate measurement from drawings and specifications and prepare Bills of Quantities and Schedules of rates if required. Review weekly, monthly, section programmes of works. Plan commercial activities to meet monthly timescales. Collation of cost and value information. Preparation of cost reconciliation statements. Submission and agreement of adjustment events with the client. Collect information required to specify procurement requirements. Understand the steps/documentation required. Assist procurement function where required. Management of subcontractors' accounts.
Experience:
BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience. Experience working as a Commercial Manager for a main contractor in the civil engineering or MEP environment.
